well your pal has been in jail for the last couple of weeks. Lets just say it takes more than 3 people to jump me, i broke one of there arms riped a dudes ear and just flat out beat the other. the only damgae on my part was a jamed thumb. and got three charges against me but when i saw the judge and the story was told i was cut loose. it doesn't look good when your 26 and you and your ganster friends try to beat up some dude whose 20 and had a minor adult record, especially if your prison tatted up with a serious record.well i find myself spying on you guys less and less, but i still care about you. on a happy note your boy turns 21 on the 24th

yeah i know i haven't been here in a while, but ever since clogged caps i've just been really inspired and been painting everyday, even the day i got arrested, oh yeah i got arrested for painting while i was gone, it happens. so i haven't really felt like sitting in front of a computer typing. i went to that meeting about graffiti, and it was pretty serious there were alot of officals there,a couple of council people, heads of this department heads of that department. bottom line the officials aren't ganna get things done to much politics and coulcil people are only in office a short while and alot of agendas just die. so i think i'm just ganna do it guerilla. and try to get a couple of us graff dudes together and make it happen at the groud level. so i guess school and my war on blank walls will keep me away from the few friends i got her, even you los even though we quarrel.(i still hate you though)

well i gots lots of new stuff to show (super duper illegals) but i'll post them latter in an attempt to space them out and keep my blog from dying

Theres this thing called Clogged Caps that happens in san antonio and its in its 5th year. Its a massive event that goes down with hip-hop, b-boys, djs, and graff artist. When i say b-boys understand that Mr. Freez was there, from the legendary rocksteady crew. if you don't know look it up. When i say djs understand that that san antonio is home to many dmc champs, the best djs in our nation if you don't know look it up. And when i say graff artist i mean wrighters from all over the states and some dudes from other countries. it was truly an expierence.

I just got showed some love from a dude i'm a big fan of. i'm not to into comics but one day i took my little bro and i saw this

i knew right away a graff dude did this.got onto the site and sho-nuff i was right. not only was the comic filled with style but a few issues later he switched it and it just started getting nicer and nicer. so i ordered all th comics peep this

not only did he sign it but he gave me a full sketch of the bronzeman "the little charater under the sig" it look like he did it at work or something because it was on the back of some paper witha chart.but then my house caught on fire and you may say that sucks it burnt up, it didn't burn up the firemen hosed it down and riped it to shit along with other stuff the comics were in my room but i had them in this steel case so there good. He also kicks it with a really talented group. basically i consider him "doing it" and alot of the people i see "doing it" i try to talk to and get advice but Kagan been the only reall dude i've talked to. the rest of them just blow me off. much love. my scanner takes color weird but peep his work yourself

Skule is ruining my life

Summer school has been killing me i'm trying to do a semester in two months its really time consuming and i haven't been doing much painting but i was asked to help rep my boy JC

It was a mural to cover up some graffiti. It was weird because i remeber hitting this wall when i was first getting up, and alot of the graffitti was just scribble and no style you could tell it was a training ground, and i actually buffed some stuff myself but i got over it. My buddy david gave me the heads up and the main artist didn't mind that i was a vandal infact he was real interested and i showed him some guerilla tools. it was all love. if you look to the right side of the mural, that was my team(JC's left to the end of the wall). I had to put up the black lines and tell the people how to paint it. So i got a t-shirt, 2 buisness cards, met a council women, some sweet graffiti wipeout hat and sweeted like a fat bastard.

The pictures suck, there old school film i scanned in. The banner says "edgewood comunity" and the other say "juntes se puede" which means together we can. For one day i didn't feel like a Filthy vandal,but its back to the filth now. Its nice to pretend. Listen Me and some guys have been asked by This council women how we can combat graffiti, were meeting this thursday. Give me some ideas so that i can act like i care.

Los Dinero

So after the first few days on this blog thing i manage to get into some "on-line beef" with a guy called carlos dinero. I click the view next blog and open his page. i basically see this guy saying how he's badass and blah blah, you average shit talking. So i inquire "what makes you so bad ass beside talking shit?". Apperently that put sand in his crouch. He got mad and dedicated a whole post ragging on me and just saying some stupid shit. Apparently he's not a bad ass, he's a sattire of a bad ass. think steven colbert. same style except hes' a "badass?" so anyway hes gay but he thinks hes cool and good for him. I thought that was it but he asked me some questions, and i figured hey he dedicated a whole post to me the least i could do is answer his question

what's the point of all this shit?
mainly its a hobby, to me anyway. I'm not much of an artist. At the heart i'm just some jerk who writes his name on what he want, the only agenda i have is that i want it to look good and really just do it cause its fun. Its alot easier then being and being a "on-line badass" its worth a try dinero.

are you making money at it or what?
naw even though you wish i did. The only thing i've gotten from graff is a few fights, war stories, a pair of shoes, friends and maybe 200 or 300$ Last month i was asked to help in a mural, i'll post that later and its corny but its work. Good work too. And i also got a chance to go to the Art institute in january. sorry to disapoint carlos.

any way carlos is an ass but discuses "cool" stuf like "am i a pirate or ninja", all in all his site is what it is. Start the shit talking carlos and tabitha( his mom or girlfriend or maybe just a side kick)

You do what you can with the colors you got

Check it this is how a piece is born

Step 1

So basically this is a sketch. Try to pick a light color you don't want to use a dark color because it will bleed threw, this usually just happens on cheap walls(concrete)

Step 2

Now put in a the base color, or do something to make it solid. I had to outline it again but some people are so good they can do it wif out the second outline, some people do a lot of outline. As long as you end up wif a nice piece it doesn't matter

Step 3

Now i put in the 3-d. Alot of these black lines i will have to "chop". When you spray it sprays as a circle so in order to get those sharp points you "chop" the line with another color. Imagine taking an x-acto to something round and making a point."Chopping"

Step 4

So now i put in the design, look how messy it is. if you look close at the holes you will see some small lines of a blue. that the color i plan to wrap around the whole piece i put it in now so that i can chop them. if i wait to do it at the end then it will be real hard to get right.then again some people can do it, i can't.

Step 5

The final outline, this is were can control comes in to play. You gatta be real precise but fast cause if you mess up now its ganna be a pain to fix

So i put in some blue inside the 3d and wrapped a color around the piece to make it pop. I also put some gray lines inside the letters for shits and giggles. And thats how you vandalize.
